Hello, I am currently working at a company that is required to generate hydraulic calculations for a water system. A network of 6 pipelines, all different sizes, and multiple sets of booster pumps exist. There are also elevation changes along the lines, total pipelines are approximately 30km.

In the past I have used Neotec Pipeflo to complete simulations like this to determine required head from boosters and make recommendations on pipe sizing.

The company has purchased Pipe-flo (Engineered software), which I have little (to none) experience with. From what I can gather, the  software is used for facility piping hydraulics and optimization (can work with transient case).

I am trying to determine if I require the neotec software rather than the engineered software. Please advise.
