Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a student in my third year of a MEng in Chemical and Process Engineering at Strathclyde University and I wish to enquire about any available summer work or placements available for summer 2009.

I have studied a wide range of subjects which have further enhanced my fundamental interests in the chemical engineering industry. My knowledge and experience was further developed in summer 2008 when I worked in the University as a research assistant in thermodynamic modelling.

I am ambitious, approachable and highly organised and I believe acquiring industry-based summer work experience would be the perfect opportunity for me to combine my recently acquired skills, with my willingness to learn and function efficiently as part of a successful team.

I am a forward thinking, confident individual, and would like to prove myself to others and to show that my attitude towards my work and fellow employees or team members, is first class. I am willing to undertake anything at all by way of experience. Should anyone wish to respond please reply in this thread.
