Hello, I am new to the Process Control/Chemical Engineering Field. I have been an Operator in a specialty pulp mill and more recently North America's largest Biodiesel plant for 12 + years. My new role is Process Specialist. My main duties are to start up and shut down, troubleshoot and manage operations. My goal is to be more knowledgeable about process control and chemical engineering without going to a University. My question to you all is where should I start? Is there a set of books out there to get me headed in the right direction, or some online professional training I could do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
