Hello

I'm need of "nozzle dimension, tube length standard," for my HE design? Where could I find them? How could I calculate the pressure and temperature design from the operating condition?

Thank you.

I believe that google could do ...it is in national codes & standards ...by the way - TASC has built in data base of standard pipe diameters and thicknesses ...all you have to do is to specify nominal diameter and schedule of your nozzle...

I think TEMA would be helpful about first part of your query.

About your second query for specifying the design pressure/temperature you should refer to relevant "process sizing criteria".In this document of project you will find the values should be added to operating values in your case leaded to specifying design values.

Hello

Could anyone explain these Warnings? What should I do to solve them?

1. *** WARNING *** A high fraction (0.8196) of the duty in a condenser is due to
condensate subcooling. Prediction of condensate subcooling heat transfer can be
less certain than condensation heat transfer.

Thank you. Did you mean the book: TEMA 9TH EDITION?. For the book "Process sizing criteria" I'll try to find right now.

Hi there

i hope i wont be too late to join this enquiry as some weeks before my life is really hectic.

for your first query - nozzle dimension, usually you can ask your engineers for pipe schedule sheet as supplier usually will provide us for our reference. if you are HTRI user, you can find the dimension from nozzle schedule.

second query, regarding the design pressure and design temp, i will recommend you to refer API 661 for calculation. even API 661 is for air cooler, i will use their DP and DT calculation as it is also for pressurized material.

Thanks.
