Dear all,
we want to design a packed column (filled with a mellapk filling) to separate an hydroalcoholic mixture with a certain % of pentosan (a sort of red pigment).
In our traditional plate column we control the bottom product extraction considering a temeparture difference between two sensible points. In this case is it possible to put a thermomeytric well in the column with this kind of filling? has anyone general experience about filled column and can suggest me a text where ammeliorate my personal knoledge about this problem? thanks a lot.
