DEAR FRIENDS,

I HAVE A BATCH PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING POLYESTER CHIPS AND I STORE THESE CHIPS IN A 340 M3 BLENDING SILO. BUT THE BLENDING EFFICIENCY OF THIS SILO IS NOT VERY GOOD AND IS GETTING REFLECTED IN THE DOWN-THE-LINE PROCESS.IN THIS SILO THERE ARE MULTIPLE VERTICAL PIPE DISTRIBUTED EVENLY . BULK DENSITY OF CHIPS= 0.8

CAN ANY BODY TELL THAT WHAT SHOULD BE THE IDEAL LENGTH/DIAMETER RATIO OF A BLENDING SILO. IS THERE ANY BOOK OR LITRATURE OR SITE AVAILABLE FOR THE THOROUGH STUDY. ANY HELP IN THIS REGARD WILL BE APPRECIABLE.
YOU CAN CONTACT ME AT manjeet_cheema@yahoo.com
