A brand new screw type vacuum pump has arrived in one of our plant .The pump was taken a trial and the shut off pressure of 1Torr is achieved.
The problem started within few hours ,when it was taken in-line to the process. The pump tends to trip automatically and it gets started only after continuous flushing with solvent. The pump requires solvent flush of about 25 l/hr .

What could be the reason for the pump trip?
And also it is noticed that when ever there is a auto flush in the system the vacuum tends to fluctuate.

Pl help me dealing with this
