Part of my design project involves the large scale extraction of natural gas liquids (propane and butane) from a natural gas stream. i was wondering what would be the more economic process choice between:
- the use of refrigerated absorption oil to extarct NGLs
- the use of the cryogenic turbo expander process
p.s: there is no need for ethane recovery .
