Hi all,
Any body suggest how to design the carbon filtration after treament of organic solvents. Say 10 Kg activated carbon used for 1000 lts solvent. Could anybody suggest to design a carbon filtration equipment.

Not clear what you are asking ! Let you use the search button for adsorption process . Now you still have the possibility to perform tests in your lab.

Hi, In pharmaceutical industry carbon treatment will do to improve the color of product by adsorption process..that is different topic..here my qustion is filtration of the carbon using Leaf filter, please guide the calcultion method to filter the mass (1000 Lts methanol+Product+10 Kg carbon) in approx.4 hours. Pressure will be 2 kg/cm2.

In Pharmaceutical Industry ,Carbon treatment has been given to improve the colour and transperency of Liquid at hot temperatur to facilitate good absorption Such as in case of Cephalexin Hydrochloride

In India; Generally Sparkler Filter -Leaf Filter is used .There are standard Models available.Please consult manufacture to select standard Model for your duty.
