in wellhead ,in manifold or before slug catcher or before desalter?

Do you mean "Demuslifier" which breaks oil-water emulsions? Please clarify.

i think it is demulsifier , which is used for water and oil treatment.

You may need to do some tests to verify where the best place is to inject the demulsifier. However, the general rule is that the better mixing the better effect of the demulsifier. Therefore, you should inject the demulsifier as early as possible.

 

If you have a large quantity water needs to be separated, you should first separate the water and then inject the demulsifier to avoid wasting demulsifier because of the demulsifier cost.
