Hi. Just asking for some helpful pointers. If I only have heat capacities and latent heats (vap.) for the pure components of a binary mixture, is it a good start (even for a rough estimate) to simply draw straight lines, i.e. the H(liquid)-x line and H(vapour)-y line are all straight line, and then proceed as the Ponchon-Savaritt method dictates? Or would the McCabe-Thiele method be a better method to use in this case?

Thanks,
CLarence
