HI everybody!

I am working on a design of blow case for a compressor plant. This vessel receives the liquids of Inlet separator , 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage separator and colaescing filter at 2 atm and has to pump it to a different location 100 m away from the plant.

I'm not aware of any rules of thumb for sizing, I'd think the primary thing to consider would be how often you want the valves to cycle in the run of a day vs. how much room you have to work with. I´d really appreciate if someone could share his experience in sizing blow case .

Thanks in advance

It is very hard to talk without a PFD. Have you established the design cases/scenarios and the H&MB for those? If you can share more information, we would be able to help more. Now we are just guessing what is all about.
