Hello All!! I am a student and want to know what does C5- 90 or C5-114 mean ??

 

Naphta which has constituents of boiling point 5 upto 90 "C??

C5 stays for pentanes, so the fraction includes components from pentanes to a boiling point of 90 (or 114) °C.

They are typical (Light) Naptha fractions.

In a Crude Oil, the lighter fraction (C4- or IBP-C4) is generally called Light Ends (LE) and includes Gas (C1, C2) and LPGs (C3, C4).
