Path Meaning In Indirect Bath Heater

Dear All,

 

I am new to this forum.

 

I am working for a project where client has mentioned following details for Coil:

 

5.0 Pressure Coils:

5.1    No. of Coil: 1(one)

5.2    No. of Pass/path: 14 (fourteen) passes.

5.3    No of Path: 5 paths

5.4:   Coil size: 4" (101.6mm) NB x 0.337" (8.55mm) wall thickness (Schedule 80)X 8.5 Mtrs long

5.5:   Header Pipe size: 8" NB, OD: 8.625", Schedule: 80

5.6:   Coil Material: Seamless pipe as per API-5L Gr. B, / ASTM   A106 Gr. B .

5.7    Coil Operating Pressure: Max:  105.46 kg/cm2 (1500 psig)

5.8    Coil Hydraulic Test Pressure: 1.5 times the maximum working pressure

5.9    Radiography of weld joints of Coil bundle: 100 %

 

Please clarify what is the meaning of path here.

Hi,

 

A coil divided to several paths and each path is composed of several passes...

As suggested , your customer or manager should support your query . Anyway you still have the possibility to consult vendor for support . 

let you use your favourite search engine to find out vendors .
