Hi,
after study state simulation of a refining column, i am tring the dynamic simulation.
the software didn't converge because i made valves between the refining column and the side stripper to controle the stripper level wich made a pressure dop of draw stream.
please, what is the solution? can any one help me with an example if it is possible.

Side strippers are usually fed via pump at a pumparound stage.

thank you for you response.
In the reality,there are not pumps between the main column and side stripper. in fact, side strippers are not fed via pumps and in steady state simulation, products (naphtha, kerosene, L.Gasoil and H.Gasoil) enter side strippers with trays pressure.
the software is hysys.
