Hello All,

 

I am doing simulation of reactive distillation of esertification reactions as below in Aspen Plus

 

C8H18O            + C12H24O2 → C20H40O2                  + H2O

2-Ethyl Hexanol + Lauric Acid → 2 Ethylhexanyl laurate + Water

 

CH4O     + C12H24O2 → C13H26O2       + H2O

Methanol+ Lauric Acid → Methyl Laurate + Water

 

with the kinetic parameters    

K1 (kmol/m3h) 1.2X10⁵

E1 (kJ/kmol) : -55000

K2 (kmol/m3h): 6 X 10⁵

E2 (kJ/kmol): -55000

 

Simulation is conversing but products are not forming

 

I am using Radfrac column for simulation, All the inlet parameters are correct as per literature but products are not forming after defining reaction & kinetic parameters also.

 

Please help me out to get simulation done.
