dear sirs,

 

We are planning to replace tube bundle for Fin fan cooler and there is no changes in design but tubes are corroded so we want to replace complete bundle. Please advise me U &  R stamps are required?

As per my understanding, U Stamp is the ceritification for the new equipment while R Stamp is the certification for the repaired equipment which has ever certified by an existing stamp. So, for the case of  new bundle, U stamp should be applied. 

Anyway, i think the manufacturers can answer your question as they have passed a lot of certifying processes on their equipment.
