Hi,

I have read that wet scrubbers are able to handle gas temperature up to 400 celcius. If I were to scrub flue gas at 400 celcius with water at room temperature, won't all the water be evaporated at such high temperature? How will scrubbing be achieved then?

Also, when calculating heat transfer from gas to liquid, for parameters in prandtl number, are they for liquid or gas?

Thank you.
