Dear All,
Has anybody ever considered two phase fire relief from large atmospheric storage tank? On a project, it is assumed 90% liquid full in storage tanks for fire case.
From an internal document I have, it says if the tank is padded on the bottom and its diameter is greater than 15 ft, then when the liquid (not bubbly-foamy type) level is less than 95%, then two phase relief can be ignored.
Personally, I don't have experience with two phase relief from an atmospheric storage tank. Anybody can give some advice on this?
Thank you.
Regards,
Leo
