Hye all.

I have new custody meter skid that consist of 1 x duty custody meter, 1 x standby Custody meter and 1 x master prover.

Due to cost constraint, my client want to eliminate 1 x standby custody meter and during maintenance of duty custody meter, they want to use master prover as for billing.

for me reading wise should be OK as master prover is more accurate. however, is it OK to use it as duty when current duty meter is on maintenance? is it deviate from relevant standard i.e. API (MPMS)?

The choice is with your client. He needs to meet the requirements of his customer. This is usually declared in a contract between buyer and seller.
