Hi, I have a double walled diesel storage tank of 3000 gal capacity. Is there any requirement by code in terms of the requirement of foam system is a particular storage volume is exceeded? Please advise.

Hi,
Foam extinguishment is required generally for fires classified as "Class B" fires and the chemicals involved in a "Class B" fire. Refer the link below for firefighting foam system design guidelines:
