Hello!

I write a project about biohydrogen production and in one section I must do a process simulation of hydrogen separation or purification in chemCAD.

I choose a chemical absorption to separate hydrogen and carbon dioxide. But I have a problem with running my simulations, every time there is an error "scds/extr did not converge" I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

The first stream is a 50% KOH solution and second is a gas mixture (80% of H2 and 20% of CO2) a range of temerature conditions are 57-107C and pressure 5-30 bar. I do different combinations and always there is a error.

How can I converge a SCDS column? Maybe someone do similar simulation in ChemCAD and can help me.

Or are there some articles describing in details such process?
