What are the main benefits of the heat pump distillation column? Why to choose a heat pumped column instead of a conventional distillation column?

The utility costs should be lower for heat pumped column. The equipment is different and the utility savings may justify the difference in the cost of capital.

Well! But, we have a compressor, which requires utility (steam or electricity). RIght?
