[Question] I want to simulate a dry tank initialization (filling an empty tank with liquid media) & the tank is always vented (0 barg). The problem is that HYSYS isn't allowing me to use the indicated check option in the Tank unit operation?

I had removed RV-100 / VapO & given a pressure spec to VapO* but problem still persists. I just want my tank to be vented (open to atmosphere) irrespective of feed / product pressures; how should I modify my scheme?

Hello,

 

I suppose if you add artificial blanketing (nitrogen) to tank the problem will be solved. Add controllers (PIC) to set pressure in the tank.
