I am in process of doing a test run for a lighter crude processing at our refinery.

I am studying it by a hysys simulation model and while studying desalter and preheat train We have observed vapor phase at lower temperatures.

I am working with peng robinson fluid package now and I need to know which is the recommended fluid package for crude & water mixture vapor pressure studies in Hysys  and Pro-II.

Thanks

do you mean that Peng Robinson predicts a vapor phase at low temperatures ?

According my experience Peng Robinson works well for hydrocarbons,

however for mixtures including large amounts of water , salts etc. there are more specific models,

for example, depending from application, EOS with complex mixing rules , models with support for electrolytes etc.

You may consider different options.
