Hi ......

First of all, if you wish to use HYSYS, you must first learn the basic principles of simulation in that simulator.
In addition, it is necessary data of the feed to the process: mass or volumetric flow, density, chromatographic analysis of the same current, pressure and temperature. with base of these data it is possible to try istart the simulation.

Good luck

Hello Normal2500,

In order to achieve proper fractionation train design in Hysys, you certainly must be something more than ordinary software user. The best combination is: experienced field engineer and process simulator maniac, at the same time. If you are not familiar with process simulators, do not try playing games with distillation tower(s) design.
As you are probably aware, software will come up with a "perfect" solution for your demands, regardless of how (in)accurately the problem is defined in the first place (garbage in = garbage out). So, it is quite possible to retreive modeling results that look really great, but that pieces of equipment will not work at the field. Please contact your software vendor for assistance.

I think you are doing a separation in distillation column and this is simple , you can do it by habd or with HYSYS which very easy and you will get a very quick answer but you have to understant how to use HYSYS to avoid errors.
Good luck
