Does anyone know how to model the dissolution of a polymer in Aspen Plus, UniSim Design, or ChemCAD? I am modeling a process that includes dissolving PET in a non-water solvent and I can't figure out how to specify the solubility of the polymer in the solvent; the program treats the "solution" as two phases (liquid solvent + solid PET), instead of a liquid solution.
