We are planning to install an Ethylene Dimerization unit to produce Butene-1 for our petrochemical units. The planning is at very initial stages and we are planning to install a plant so that it can produce 20 Mt/hr polymer grade Butene-1, which can be used as copolymer in our polyethylene unit.

For the same reason and as rough initial calculation, I need kinetics data of ethylene dimerization reactor ( which will contain TEAL and Ti/Ni based catalyst based on licensors design). Licensors is yet to be selected, and before that we need to evaluate process.

If anyone can kindly provide atleast basic kinetics data for the same , that would be very helpful.

yes sir ... I went through this article and also searching suitable litrature in sciencedirect for past few day. I am completely aware that , it is impossible to get accurate kinetic data , as they are propitory.Still looking for more ways to collect as much information as I can in legal ways.

Can anyone kindly share about which software (paid or free) can be used in this case to determine undermine reactions and their kinetics if someone has experimental data?
