Dear All

 

What is line sizing criteria for the bitumen service line. The bitumen service pipe is insulated & heat traced. Operating temperature is around 120 °C. There is one project where 1.6 -1.9 m/s velocity criteria is considered but reference of standard /basis is not available.

One more important criteria is the head loss per unit length .

Note : you did not provide much information about your product  in particular the viscosity@ operating temperature .
