hello,
i am working on one project which is related to oil and gas industry. we have gas condititioning unit and controlling the dew point. we have long-term issue with 3-phase separator which is stabilizer feed drum. The inlets to this feed drum:
1) condensate from LTS which is warmed in propane subcooler.
Outlets are stab. gas to compression, glycol to regeneration system, and condensate to stabilizer tower (dist. column). So, i need to check performance of this feed drum, the thing is we are suspecting the liquid carryover in the system. How I need to do these calculations to check whether there is glycol carryover? I think there can be potential issues in 3-phase separator breaking down of internals- baffles/vortex breakers/mist eliminators. However, we cannot shutdown the system and inspect those.
What is your recommendation to check the calculations of SFD? How can i increase efficiency of thisfeed drum? I want to carry out oil droplet sizing calcs, i dont have too much data now.
