Javas:

I used a different source from the one Paul found for you. I simply copied your description - "ISA symbols" - and pasted it into the Google Search Engine. In less than a minute, I had the attached symbols which I have put into an Excel spreadsheet. I did this to see and get an idea of just how lazy some engineers can be.

The ISA flow sheet symbols are so basic, badly done, and lacking clarity that I draw my own using the basic Excel drawing tools. My ISA symbols are much, much better than the ones you see. All the basic tools for drawing a better product are found in Excel. All you need to do is be resourceful, learn how to do them, and then draw them yourself instead of waiting for someone to do it for you.

I hope this helps.

Hi Javas

You can subscribe the ISA web site and purchase the copy from there. I do have a copy but the file is too large and unable to upload here (about 3MB). Give me your email here then I see I can send to you.

Yes you can draw the P&ID's using excel but is not the faster way. I'm using MS Visio Tech / Smart P&ID's and I find it is very effecient.

Regards

To All,

Don't put your email addresses in these threads. They'll get picked up by spambots. If you want to request a private file be emailed to you, use the private message system to make your request. I promise that you'll thank me. You can edit your messages above and remove your email addresses. I highly recommend it.

Thanks,
