Dear all:

I've found some experiences with ethanol in Brazil, but in Europe just FAME are allowed (Fatty Acid Methyl Esters).

But, since there is a great content of ricinoleic acid (90%) in the oil, and it has an -OH in the chain, How the general properties are affected? Will the viscosity be increased? Will the methanol make an ether with this -OH?....

Any indication or reference will be wellcome, since it will save some crashes during field practice...
