Hi everybody,
I'm actually working for a wine and spirit company. We’re actually thinking about the possibility to install a vacuum distillation column in one of our affiliates (whisky producing company). This column will replace a column fed by beer (from maize) and produce an intermediate product which then goes through 2 columns (extraction + rectification). I’m actually trying to collect information on this topic. The main interest for us will be the energy saving. Anybody has an experience (case of study...) in this area (food grade ethanol production using vacuum distillation)
Thanks a lot for your help,
Vincent.
