Dear all,

Need your help....

We are supplying a close loop dryer plant. Dryer dries the HDPE by removing the hexance. Drying media is Nitrogen gas. We have scrubber condenser where N2+hexance gas enters along with some carryover particles of Dried product. I have the scrubber design data but i dont know how to size the scrubber, i.e. diameter and height. I need to know how to size the tray type scrubber condenser. Data are as below

Inlet dry gas : 7500 kg/h (dry N2) Oultlet dry gas : 7500 kg/h (dry N2)
Hexance vapor frac. at inlet : 4144 g/kg Outlet vapor frac. : 2116 g/kg
Inlet gas temp. : 63.1°C Outlet temp. : 42°C
Density of gas mix. at inlet: 2.218kg/m3 Density outlet : 1.951 kg/m3
Relative humidty at outlet : 100%
Pressure drop across scrubber : 221mmwg
Dust entering to srubber with gases : 16kg/hr

I have the data of srubbing liquid also but i want to know how to derive it and infact that's what i am expected to derive. (Scrubbing liquid is raw water only at atm temp.)

anybody have spread sheet regarding such scrubber, i will be highly obliged to have it.

Waiting for inupts from everyone now.....
