Hi everyone

With my lead process, we thought about recondensing gas with liquid so we thought about a bubbler. However, we have no idea to size one. So i just design it like a 2 phase separator but it is so so preliminary. Do you know documents, papers, books where i can find the design of a bubblers

thank you

And you musty certainly know that when gas condenses, heat is liberated. So the system warms. You may want different characteristics for a bubbler as compared to a sparger. If the vapor is clean, you might consider a sintered metal device. This produces very tiny bubbles, hence providing lots of contact area. You might also look at ammonia absorption systems that use a specially designed heat exchanger. And, you can use liquid circulation across distillation trays to condense vapors. And you might even find methods via Google on design procedures.

We thought about column trays bu the goal is to condense all the gas!!We then though about bubblers wich is less expensive and take little place but thank you
