Hello,

I'm an estimation engineer, working in the Fire Protection industry and I came across this project requirement for the Fire detection system for equipment. Which tells that the logic of the detection system shall consist of two pneumatic fusible tube heat detector as its detector where the first fusible detector melts, it will give a pre-alarm signal and when the other fusible tube detector melts it will give an alarm signal as it reaches the temperature above 90 degree Celsius. The detection system shall be compose of a copper tube and it will always be pressurize. The loss of air pressure in tube is detected by a pressure switch which is connected directly to the Fire alarm control panel. The loss of pressure in tube shall initiate a fire alarm on the appropriate fire protection workstation in CCR and Fire station. Is anyone out there who has experience this kind of Detection system and what type of detector they used? What brand/model is appropriate including its accessories such as pressure switch, pressure control valve, pressure transmitter and blowdown valve spring return. Size of the copper tube and fittings shall be 6mm.
