I need to simulate a pipeline for a distance of 32km running between two different platforms with a riser each at the platforms as well and i am to use Pipesys in Hysys (not pipe segment) for the simulation.

the water depth at platform A is 60m and that at platform B is 6.8m
this was what i did
i simulated the 1st riser as a pipe with a length of 60m and an elevation of 0 i.e cordinates (0.-60) while the origins i assumed to be elevation of 0 and distance of 0 i.e (0,0)
after adding the 1st riser, it solved for the rise and run automatically.
then i added a second pipe copied the data from the 1st since they are both submerged and gave it a length of 32000m and elevation of -6.8m BUT the simulation did not solve,
it displayed an error message saying STEPSIZE FAILURE IN PIPE UNIT 2.
WHAT AM I MEANT TO DO?
i did alot of trouble shooting but still it dint work.
please i would appreciate your answers.

thanks
MAC
