we are facing high Nitrogen in spent caustic from LTU ( LPG treated Unit) and caused high Nitrogen in waste water from CNU sent to waste water treament unit and killed microorganism which to treat waste water become on-spec water and discharge to Sea. We tried to Stop MEA pump which big concern about causing high nitrogen in spent caustic but Nitrogent content didn't drop and keep about 6000ppm. we eliminated Amine carried over to LTU by analysis Nitrogent in LPG, the result is about 12-15 ppm. What casued high Nitrogent in Spent caustic.
