Hi Everyone!

I am currently trying to simulate a real VDU unit but unfortunately the simulation isn't converging.

Can anyone please give me some guidance about this?

Currently the specifications I am using to run the simulation are:

PA rates (LVGO, HVGO and one quench)

Product Rates (LVGO and HVGO)

Recycle Rates (LVGO recycle and HVGO Recycle)

Top Temperature

Flash Temperature

Thank you,

Perhaps the problem is similar to the one in the following thread?

http://www.cheresour...age-transition/

Or, perhaps you can zip and post your hysys file here.

Hi,

Actually I can not send you the file because of the format. The simulator is not Hysys but Petro-Sim. I putted Hysys in the thread name because Petro-Sim is based in Hysys.

Concerning the thread you posted I will take a look and after that I will send you some feedback.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

So, I managed to converge the column using the specs that you can see in the attached figure.

Can you comment about the specs I am using? Do you think these are the "right" ones?

Also, in the simulations, I have a relative error of 15% in the 5%d86 ASTM of LVGO when comparing to the lab data. How can I adjust that property?

Thank you
