Hi All,
Currently I am working on determining the relief loads for Natural Gas wherein for Control Valve Failure case I get huge relief loads. The resulting flare header & flare stack are also very large.
Hence, I was asked to study the other Over-Pressure Protection options. I came across the following
1. Wide Open Monitors
2. Working Monitors
3. Shutoff Devices (HIPPS, Slam shut regulators)
I do not have experience regarding these alternatives and hence request the members who can share their experiences with these kinds of systems
Thanks in advance
