I m Dinesh working as a design consultant, mumbai.


As we r going to design an evaporator system with backfeed arrangement while using 4 evaporators in series for the production of 1 ton calcium chloride (80% Moisture content) and the feed is 7143 kgs per hr of 14% calcium chloride. The first evaporator (from where the product is coming) is working at negative pressure (650mmhg) and from the last evaporator feed is charged at given rate and is heated while using 20 bar steam with 3000 kg/hr rate and operation is carried out by force circulation method.

Help me to design an evaporator and also explain the presure temperature detail in all evaporators.
