I am currently doing a detailed engineering design on an air separations unit using Linde's double column for my 3rd year design project, I am trying to model the upper and lower columns as two separate columns for the simulation.

I have been playing around with the HP column's specs but I'm struggling to get my distillation columns to converge, would very much appreciate help. I am also clueless as to how to remove argon from the LP column as a side draw.

I have attached the simulation file.

The goal is to produce roughly 33 tons per hour of 99% pure oxygen and residual pure nitrogen for nitrogen blankets, etc, for the feedstock for an ethylene oxide plant.

Cheers!
