Hi dear guys

we have a low pressure tank that used for crude oil storage. this tank equip with PVSV that control the inside pressure. which is standard allow to us that install a isolating valve before/after the PVSV? Now, we are going to isolate the tank and then doing overhual maintenance.

thanks

Hi,

You can consider such isolation valve before/after PVSV, same as what applied in PSVs, provided that it would be full bore and also installed in LO (Locked Open) position.
