I will send you some reference material along with a methodology for doing the calculations. Note for the three phase seperator, the vessel length and diameter is determined by the limiting case, i.e either vapor liquid seperation or liquid liquid separation. Its typical to calculate the L and D for both cases, with the final vessel design being selected based upon which case provide the maximum diameter and length.

Hello everyone,

I got the sizing procedure entitled: "Successfully Specify Three-phase separators"
I have a problem with it. The step which uses table 3 in the paper to calculate Ad / A. Step no. 9g

Could someone explain it to me? I am trying to do some trial and errors now but it's leading me nowhere !!
