Hello every one

Can any one explain the ups and downs of CERs ? A company is offering my company a proposal to create and optimize our CERs (Certified emissions reductions), this is new to me, where should I start studying the subject.

Kind regards

Dear Alawi,
CERs are the tons of equivalent of CO2, the emission of which is reduced, for which you get paid for certain $ per CER which are traded across exchanges.
Under the Kyoto Protocol & in the clean development mechanism a third world country can earn CERS by reducing CO2 emissions. Price per CER varies from $ 5 to $ 15 Per CER.
Several processes are eliglible in CDM project.
