hello.i really need help o my plant design project.i need to recover methanol from a feed that has a lot of components. methyl ester, triglyceride,glycerol, soap,water and other components. is flash distillation a possible solution? i've tried designing a flash drum but i had a problem on finding the data of my components.can you help me?

Dear,

For to get the data base of the properties of componenets involved go through Perry's Handbook or

the best option to get all the properties at the respective temp and pressure is to go for simulators

like Hysys.

hi
u can simulate it by distillation column by hysys
and u can enter the specification u want from spec tab in distillation

as u can have multistreams and i think distillation column will cover that
