Amit,

I would always encourage those engineers under my supervision

- to conduct their hand calc.
- program it into a simple spreadsheet for repetitive works

This way i will can ensure my engineers

- have proper understanding of the background
- minimise unnecessary repetitive work & time lose
- confident with their output
- have "feel" & wisdom on this subject

I really wish you (and other young engineer who have not done that) agree with me and practise it.

You may verify you output with this calculator

Dear Sir,

Thanks for the inputs.
I do agree on comments marked, i have done the hand calculations and would like to cross verify my results, could say a sort of a consistency check.

With Warm Regards,
Amit
