How to define distillation column without condenser in aspen plus? In this scheme, the top stream from the column is compressed so that it can be condensed at higher temperature, enabling the condenser and reboiler to be integrated together as single heat exchanger.

If someone can write a small tutorial step by step, how to run a simulation, the data are complete. Pressure at outlet of compressor is 18.34 bar. Compression ratio =2.

I have the same question as you...except my column is C2 splitter.
If you get an answer...please reply in my thread.
thanks

i asked this question to AspenPlus tech support.
He said use "RadFrac" model with no reboiler and no condenser .Im doing the same.
thanks.

In this forum I got the answer (http://www.eng-tips....d=245839&page=1), still have the problem that with a different data ran simulation to converge without errors, I decided to HEATX, because with the heat stream I do not know to link two Heater. If you heard something notify me.[attachment=1599:a.bmp]
