Good Day All,

I looking for some advises or experiences sharing regarding the production of Sodium Monochloro acetate aqueous solution from Mono chloro acetic acid ( 50 % w/w aqueous solution) and Caustic Soda (50% w/w aqueous solution) ; MCA+NaOH > SMCA , the reaction is exothermic 49 kcal/mol .

Note : MCA is very corrosif and highly hazardous . The MCA solution is prepared in a glass lined reactor.

Thanks for sharing ideas regarding the type of reactor , mixer? How to manage the exotherm?
